Responsibilities
- Monitor and track software usage to ensure efficient utilization and cost control.
- Collaborate with internal teams to plan and manage software budgets.
- Analyze usage data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize software investments.
- Maintain accurate records of software licenses, contracts, and renewal schedules.
- Support software contract renewals and assist in securing favorable terms.
- Provide guidance to teams on software asset management best practices.
- Prepare regular reports on software usage, budget performance, and optimization initiatives for management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in software asset management, IT asset management, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Good understanding of software licensing and compliance.
- Experience in budgeting, financial tracking, or cost optimization is an advantage.
- Familiarity with industry frameworks (e.g., ITIL, SAM certifications) is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
