AI Solution Engineer - Asset Management (Conglomerate)

A leading organisation is seeking an AI Solution Engineer to support its asset management division in Hong Kong.

This role focuses on designing and delivering AI-powered solutions, autonomous agents, and scalable data platforms that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to transform complex requirements into secure, production-ready AI services.

Key responsibilities:

As an AI Solution Engineer, you will develop and implement AI-driven solutions that improve business intelligence, streamline workflows, and support strategic decision-making across the organisation. Your responsibilities include:

• Design and develop autonomous AI agents, intelligent data pipelines, and extraction frameworks that consolidate and synthesise information from internal, corporate, and external data sources
• Build executive dashboards, reporting solutions, and analytics tools that deliver clear, real-time insights to support business decision-making
• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable AI platforms, backend services, and data engineering solutions that support enterprise AI workloads
• Apply analytics, forecasting, and machine learning techniques where they provide measurable improvements in business outcomes and decision quality
• Implement and manage shared platform capabilities, including environment provisioning, configuration management, secrets handling, and deployment automation
• Establish and maintain engineering best practices through version control, testing, CI/CD automation, documentation, and adherence to technology, security, and architectural standards
• Build, operate, and optimise MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, while rapidly prototyping AI solutions for senior stakeholders and transitioning successful initiatives into production with appropriate governance and ownership
• Partner with Cybersecurity, Operations, and technology teams to strengthen platform reliability, scalability, security, incident response, performance, and cost efficiency through security-by-design principles and operational excellence

Candidate profile:

The ideal candidate combines strong AI engineering, software development, and data engineering expertise with a proven ability to deliver reliable, enterprise-scale solutions in production environments.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, AI engineering, or data engineering, with a proven track record of delivering production-grade solutions
• Hands-on expertise in deploying and operating AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions within enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of agentic AI frameworks, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, tool orchestration, and AI-powered applications
• Proven experience building APIs, backend services, and scalable data pipelines that integrate documents, analytics platforms, AI services, and diverse internal and external data sources
