Business Development Manager (B2B, HKD 50K)
A leading global quality assurance provider is seeking a Business Development Manager to head up their Hong Kong team, focusing on consumer products. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in expanding the reach of sustainability services across a thriving market.
Job Duties:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aimed at driving business expansion in inspection, testing, social responsibility auditing, supply chain sustainability, and related services for consumer products within Hong Kong.
- Identify new business prospects by researching emerging market trends, potential clients, and strategic partnership opportunities to ensure continued growth.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients by understanding their unique needs and providing bespoke solutions that address their requirements.
- Set ambitious yet achievable monthly and annual sales targets while managing budgets effectively to ensure consistent performance against objectives.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation through prospecting, proposal submission, negotiation, and contract closure to secure new business opportunities.
- Analyse sales data alongside current market trends to pinpoint areas for improvement and develop actionable plans that enhance overall sales effectiveness.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their satisfaction remains high while fostering long-term loyalty through attentive service.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams such as customer service, operations, quality assurance, and technology to guarantee seamless delivery of services to clients.
- Resolve client issues promptly and efficiently while maintaining a positive brand image throughout all interactions.
- Recruit, train, and guide a high-performing sales team by setting clear goals, offering regular feedback, and cultivating a positive collaborative work environment.
Requirement:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, marketing or a related discipline; possession of a master’s degree would be advantageous.
- At least five years’ proven experience in business development within soft line, hard line or electrical/electronic sectors in the testing inspection certification industry.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets within relevant markets.
- Able to travel
