My client is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Assistant Channel Sales Manager, SEA to support the expansion and market penetration across the dynamic Southeast Asian region. This role will play a key part in identifying, developing, and nurturing new distribution channels, retailers, and strategic partnerships to drive my client’s presence and sales growth within key markets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the luxury goods market, and a proven ability to build and strengthen sales networks in diverse cultural landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of comprehensive sales strategies to achieve aggressive growth targets for my client’s products across Southeast Asia.
- Identify and onboard new distributors, retailers, pro shops, and other innovative sales channels in target markets, including Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, and other emerging SEA countries.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement effective promotional activities and brand-building initiatives tailored to the regional market.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market feedback to senior management.
- Ensure brand consistency and adherence to my client’s luxury standards across all sales channels.
- Represent my client at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in channel sales, business development, or a similar role within the luxury goods or golf equipment industry.
- Demonstrable track record of successfully supporting or establishing sales channels in the Southeast Asian market, with hands-on experience in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both written and oral, with fluency in English.
- Strong understanding of the cultural nuances and business practices within the Southeast Asian region.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Southeast Asian region.
- A passion for golf and an appreciation for luxury brands is highly desirable.
