Senior Manager - Procurement & Finance

A leading Biotechnology Research organisation in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Manager (Procurement and Finance) to strengthen financial governance and procurement excellence, driving organisational performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the Finance and Procurement function, overseeing accounting, finance, procurement, and daily operations to ensure effective governance and operational excellence
• Develop and execute financial strategies, budgets, and annual plans while strengthening financial management systems, internal controls, and policy compliance
• Drive procurement governance by overseeing end-to-end purchasing activities, tender processes, and adherence to organisational policies and regulatory requirements
• Deliver strategic financial reporting, budgeting, and insights to support senior management, committees, and key business decision-making
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration, process improvements, and continuous enhancement of finance and procurement operations

Candidate profile:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline, with professional qualifications such as HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent
• 12+ years’ post-qualification experience in accounting and finance within large organisations or public sector environments, including 5+ years in a leadership role
• Proven expertise in financial management, budgeting, internal controls, governance, compliance, and procurement operations
• Experience leading finance and procurement teams, driving operational excellence, process improvements, and strategic decision-making
• Strong organisational, communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and manage multiple priorities
