IT Procurement - Senior Manager

A leading organisation in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Manager for IT Procurement to champion the strategic relationships between internal users and extensive network of technology vendors. What you'll do:

• Maintain comprehensive oversight of all IT suppliers, partners, and significant third-party contracts while ensuring each relationship is managed by the appropriate team members for optimal results.
• Continuously develop and refine contract standards, including service level agreements (SLAs), vendor obligations, and change control processes for a wide range of IT products and services.
• Support project teams in drafting, negotiating, and finalising statements of work (SOWs) that align with organisational objectives and compliance requirements.
• Implement and sustain a robust vendor performance management programme with key technology partners to monitor performance, mitigate risks, and drive ongoing improvements throughout the contract life-cycle.
• Evaluate potential vendor management tools for suitability and lead their implementation if they add value to the organisation’s operations.
• Design and execute a third-party risk framework for IT vendors in alignment with the broader Enterprise Risk Management strategy.
• Collaborate closely with procurement teams to optimise the supplier list, identify top strategic partners for IT initiatives, and shape long-term vendor strategies.
• Work alongside procurement and legal colleagues to create practical procurement policies that address the unique needs of modern technologies such as SaaS solutions, cloud platforms, and agile delivery models.
• Foster a diverse, inclusive culture built on trust and respect by serving as a role model who supports cross-team efforts and encourages collaborative behaviours at all levels.

What you bring:

• Hold a degree in Information Technology, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration which provides you with a solid foundation for this multifaceted position.
• Bring 10-15 year's experience in procurement or contract management roles where you have demonstrated your expertise in handling complex supplier networks within large organisations.
• Possess deep market knowledge of technology suppliers across hardware and software domains along with specialist skills in market intelligence gathering and bench-marking best practices.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience in sourcing processes including tendering procedures as well as advanced planning abilities coupled with refined negotiation techniques.
• Have successfully set up vendor management programmes for key technology partners that focus on performance measurement, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excel at establishing collaborative partnerships both internally across departments and externally with vendors; your interpersonal skills enable you to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly at all organisational levels; your presentations distil technical information into easily understood terms for senior leadership audiences.
• Showcase experience presenting recommendations or updates directly to executive management or board-level stakeholders within previous roles.
