Regional Procurement Manager - Digital & IT
Seeking a Regional Procurement Manager - Digital & IT for a top financial services firm. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Category Strategy Development: Design and implement strategies for IT categories aligned with organizational goals.
- Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve sourcing efficiency to maximize value.
- Supplier Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and oversee contracts to ensure performance and compliance.
- Strategic Sourcing: Manage sourcing processes, including RFPs, ensuring alignment with business needs and stakeholder expectations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with IT, Finance, Compliance, and Operations to align sourcing strategies with organizational priorities.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments to inform sourcing decisions.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs for supplier performance and ensure adherence to SLAs.
- Change Management: Facilitate smooth onboarding of new suppliers and IT solutions, ensuring seamless integration.
- Regulatory & Risk Management: Ensure sourcing practices comply with industry regulations and effectively manage associated risks.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare reports and deliver presentations to senior management on sourcing strategies and performance metrics.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or related; MBA preferred.
- 5-7 years in IT procurement, especially within banking or insurance sectors.
- Strong relationship-building skills across Technology and Procurement teams.
- Proven success in cost savings, strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills and ability to develop effective category strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
- Deep understanding of hardware, software, IT service and emerging technology trends and technologies.
- Fluent in English; Cantonese or Mandarin proficiency is advantageous.
- Knowledge of compliance and sourcing best practices in financial services.
