This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence and supply chain strategy of a respected business with a strong reputation for quality and reliability. You will be empowered to drive positive change, foster a culture of collaboration, and ensure seamless processes across all aspects of operations and supply chain management.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee the entire operations and supply chain function, ensuring all processes run smoothly from procurement through to delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels across the organisation’s supply chain network.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging knowledge sharing, supporting training initiatives, and promoting best practices among team members.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including finance, sales, logistics, and production to ensure alignment on business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders to create dependable networks that support organisational goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations and supply chain activities, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies while maintaining high levels of quality assurance.
  • Identify risks within the supply chain process and develop mitigation plans that safeguard business continuity.
  • Champion sustainability initiatives within operations by integrating environmentally responsible practices into daily workflows.
  • Support the professional development of team members through mentoring, coaching, and providing access to ongoing training opportunities.

What you bring:

  • Extensive experience in operations management or supply chain leadership roles within reputable organisations.
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements that have resulted in measurable gains in efficiency or cost reduction.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and nurture positive working relationships.
  • Strong analytical abilities enabling you to interpret complex data sets for informed decision-making.
  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting team development through mentoring or structured training programmes.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to operations and supply chain functions in Hong Kong or similar markets.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships with sensitivity towards cultural differences and sustainability considerations.
  • Ability to identify potential risks within operational processes and develop practical solutions that protect business interests.
  • Outstanding organisational skills allowing you to manage multiple priorities without compromising on quality or deadlines.
