Supply Chain Manager
A leading solar energy solutions provider seeks a Supply Chain Manager in Hong Kong to transform global supply chain operations, strengthen supplier partnerships, and enhance end-to-end efficiency and international delivery across business functions.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Hong Kong Supply Chain team, building a high-performing and collaborative function that drives accountability, capability growth, and continuous improvement
- Own CMO supplier relationships, shifting partnerships from transactional to strategic while driving performance reviews and improvements across quality, cost, service, and flexibility
- Oversee international logistics and freight operations from Asia, ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and reliable global delivery through strong carrier and partner management
- Manage inventory and product lifecycle planning, balancing service levels and working capital while supporting smooth phase-in and phase-out processes to reduce obsolescence risk
- Act as the key supply chain interface across Procurement, R&D, Finance, and Commercial teams to support demand planning, product launches, and supply risk mitigation
- Own supply chain master data governance, ensuring accuracy and integrity of planning and reporting data through proper controls and issue resolution
- Drive supply chain performance and resilience through KPI reporting, process improvement initiatives, and proactive risk management and continuity planning
Candidate profile:
- 3+ years’ experience in supply chain or coordination roles within international environments, ideally in FMCG, consumer goods, electronics, or similar fast-paced industries
- Experience working with CMOs and managing international logistics across China and Asia-Pacific, with exposure to both Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO) environments
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, with strong Excel and data analytics capability for reporting and operational decision-making
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in multi-national, cross-cultural environments
- Analytical and commercially minded with strong problem-solving ability, comfortable working in ambiguity and driving supplier or process improvements; fluent English required, Mandarin advantageous
