Operation & CS Officer - FMCG
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service and Operations Officer within the fast-moving consumer goods sector, based in Hong Kong. This role offers you the chance to become an integral part of a globally recognised snacking brand that is rapidly expanding its international presence. You will be joining a diverse and ambitious team dedicated to delivering excellence across sales, marketing, forecasting, and supply chain functions.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate the complete order flow for a dedicated portfolio of international distributors, ensuring accuracy and timely processing from order entry through to delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal departments, providing prompt responses to queries and proactive solutions to challenges.
- Collaborate closely with planning, warehousing, expedition, and other internal teams to guarantee on-time fulfilment of orders and seamless logistics operations.
- Manage export administration tasks including preparing invoices, handling certificates, maintaining client files, and addressing complaints efficiently.
- Support the sales and marketing teams by communicating with distributors on topics such as packaging requirements, price confirmations, and sales & operations planning updates.
- Monitor and update ERP (SAP) systems accurately to reflect order status, inventory levels, and shipment details for full transparency across the business.
- Facilitate smooth information flow between stakeholders by organising regular updates and ensuring all parties are aligned on key deliverable.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within customer service operations to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Assist with the resolution of any issues related to export documentation or logistics by liaising with relevant authorities or partners as needed.
- Contribute positively to team meetings by sharing insights gained from client interactions and supporting colleagues in achieving collective goals.
What you bring:
- A higher vocational education degree or equivalent qualification relevant to business administration or supply chain management is required.
- Demonstrated experience (3-5 years) in a similar customer service or operations role within the FMCG sector or related industries is highly valued.
- Proficiency in export systems and documentation processes is essential for managing international distributor accounts effectively.
- Fluency in English is mandatory due to extensive global client interactions; additional language skills are considered advantageous.
- Strong intercultural communication abilities enable you to work harmoniously with colleagues and partners from diverse backgrounds.
- Hands-on experience using ERP platforms such as SAP alongside advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools is necessary for daily operations.
