Operations Director (Warehouse & 3PL)

A leading logistics provider seeks an Operations Director in Hong Kong to transform warehouse and 3PL operations, building scalable logistics capabilities and driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead customer-focused logistics operations, strengthening client relationships, driving customer retention, and expanding revenue opportunities
• Drive commercial performance through sales analysis, business reporting, and strategic recommendations that inform executive decision-making
• Oversee vendor, contractor, and external consultant partnerships, ensuring cost-effective service delivery, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence
• Build regional and global customer relationships by collaborating across international teams to secure new business and strengthen strategic accounts
• Lead regional strategic planning and business transformation initiatives, managing key projects and third-party partners to deliver organisational objectives
• Shape the organisation by defining team structure, performance standards, and a high-performance culture focused on quality, collaboration, customer service, and continuous improvement

Candidate profile:

• 8 years’ experience in logistics operations or general management, with a strong track record of driving operational excellence and business performance
• Degree in Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics operations, supply chain processes, risk management, and business transformation within a complex environment
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate insights into business outcomes
• Proven ability to build high-performing teams and develop trusted relationships with customers, vendors, consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and Visio, with excellent presentation and communication skills in English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
