Job Purpose

My client is looking for a creative and trend-savvy Social Media & Content Specialist to join their Markting team This is a non-traditional role focused on brand building and storytelling, with a strong emphasis on bridging APAC insights with global (especially US) brand strategies. You will identify emerging trends, work closely with KOLs/influencers, and help translate regional content into compelling global social media campaigns that strengthen Hasbro’s brand presence worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and identify social media trends, consumer behaviours, and cultural insights across APAC markets, then translate them into actionable recommendations for global brand campaigns.
  • Support the creation and adaptation of social media content (especially short-form video and posts) that aligns with Hasbro’s brand guidelines while resonating with both regional and US audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with KOLs and influencers for content partnerships, video shoots, and post activations.
  • Work with the existing HK design/content team to produce high-quality social assets.
  • Support the CMO and global team by providing APAC market insights and ensuring content consistency across markets.
  • Participate in regional trend research, competitor analysis, and performance tracking of social campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to execute social media initiatives efficiently.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing, ideally in FMCG, toys, entertainment, or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong understanding of APAC social media landscape (TikTok, Instagram, Xiaohongshu, etc.) and ability to spot emerging trends.
  • Experience working with KOLs/influencers and producing short-form video content is highly preferred.
  • Creative mindset with good storytelling ability and attention to brand consistency.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across time zones.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus.
  • Experience in Product Marketing or translating insights into content is advantageous.
