Our client is an international law firm, renowned for its robust legal team. With a significant presence in Hong Kong, they have a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services to a diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on M&A transactions, including negotiations, structuring, and execution
  • Provide counsel on private equity investments, fund formation, and compliance matters
  • Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence and prepare transaction documentation, such as purchase agreements, partnership agreements, and fund agreements
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and deliver tailored legal solutions
  • Represent clients in negotiations with counterparties, investors, and regulatory authorities
  • Stay abreast of market trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes impacting M&A and private equity
  • Mentor and support junior attorneys and staff in their professional growth

A successful M&A/PE 5PQE Lawyer should have:

  • A degree in law from a recognised university
  • A valid legal practice license in Hong Kong
  • Solid Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions related work, cross-border investment and financing exposure and general corporate experience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
