A leading renewable energy organisation seeks an Assistant Manager (Compliance & Global Markets) in Hong Kong to strengthen global compliance frameworks and support ethical, regulatory business practices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor global regulatory risks across export controls, anti-bribery, antitrust, and trade compliance requirements
  • Own KYC and third-party due diligence processes to mitigate risks across global suppliers, vendors, and partners
  • Maintain compliance platforms, data integrity, audit trails, and automated workflows to strengthen risk tracking
  • Deliver compliance training and reporting to enhance employee awareness, governance, and senior management oversight
  • Support risk assessments, internal reviews, investigations, audits, and regulatory inspections while driving corrective actions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimise compliance processes and strengthen the global corporate compliance framework

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Corporate Governance, or a related field, with relevant compliance certifications advantageous
  • 6+ years’ corporate compliance experience focused on regulatory risk or legal operations within manufacturing, global trade, logistics, or industrial supply chains
  • Hands-on experience with third-party due diligence, KYC screening, compliance databases, and risk management processes
  • Strong knowledge of compliance training, anti-corruption, competition laws, sanctions screening, and regulatory reporting
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese, with Mandarin proficiency strongly preferred, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Meticulous and analytical, with experience supporting risk assessments, investigations, audits, regulatory inquiries, and corrective action planning
