Compliance and Ops Manager (Corporate and Group Level)

The firm with businesses in New Zealand, UK, Dubai and Hong Kong is hiring for a position that centers on corporate-level compliance, where you’ll be providing support to the group compliance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain internal legal and compliance processes as the firm scales.
• Responsible for risk, compliance and governance, including compliance/regulatory reviews/ building and reviewing risk management frameworks and corporate governance optimisation
• Review relevant frameworks/policies and procedures
• Maintain Risk and Control Assessment per Group framework as to ensure it is scoped, assessed, managed and monitored
• Coordinate Risk Control Assessment plans and internal control monitoring to ensure alignment with various Businesses across regions in UK, New Zealand and Hong Kong
• Ensure investments are well-documented, properly structured, and cleanly executed.
• Act as the internal gatekeeper for operational and corporate-level compliance.
• Coordinate closely with external legal counsel, accountants, and service providers across Hong Kong and multiple international jurisdictions.
• Support post-investment monitoring, follow-ups, and documentation.
• Identify and flag legal risks and help develop practical, business-minded solution

What We’re Looking For:

• Background in corporate governance, legal, or compliance (law degree or equivalent experience preferred)
• At least 8+ years relevant experience
• Strong understanding of corporate documentation, diligence processes, and legal risk assessment.
• Comfortable working across jurisdictions without needing deep exposure to local regulatory frameworks.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized communicator.
• Experience managing external legal, tax, and accounting advisors is a plus
