Compliance Advisory, International corporate bank, VP / SM

An international banking institution is seeking an experienced Compliance Advisory professional to join a dynamic team supporting a broad range of banking activities and strategic business initiatives. The firm provides a comprehensive range of corporate banking and financing solutions and is recognised for its strong governance framework, collaborative culture, and commitment to regulatory excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide compliance advisory support to corporate banking and financing businesses across Hong Kong.
• Partner with business, legal, risk, and other control functions to review transactions, business activities, and new initiatives from a regulatory and compliance perspective.
• Offer practical guidance on compliance risks, regulatory expectations, and internal policy requirements.
• Support the assessment and implementation of new products, business proposals, and process enhancements.
• Monitor regulatory developments and provide advice on potential business implications.
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing compliance policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Participate in regulatory reviews, internal control initiatives, and compliance-related projects.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and promote a culture of integrity and compliance across the organisation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant Compliance Advisory experience gained within a bank or financial institution.
• Strong understanding of corporate banking and financing activities.
• Experience providing compliance guidance on transactions, client activities, or banking products.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong regulatory requirements and the broader financial services regulatory environment.
• Ability to balance regulatory considerations with commercial objectives and provide pragmatic solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
