Senior Compliance Manager (General Compliance), Retail Banking
A leading retail banking institution seeks a Senior Compliance Manager in Hong Kong to strengthen regulatory governance, shape enterprise-wide compliance strategy, and drive regulatory excellence across the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead compliance risk assessments and investigations to strengthen regulatory governance
- Manage regulatory inspections and reporting with HKMA, SFC, and other authorities
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement compliance requirements across the business
- Enhance compliance policies and documentation to align with evolving regulations
- Deliver regulatory reports and assessments to support effective risk management
Candidate profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, or a related discipline with 8–10 years’ banking compliance experience
- Strong knowledge of HKMA, SFC, and Hong Kong banking regulations and compliance frameworks
- Proven experience liaising with regulators and managing regulatory inspections within the banking industry
- Excellent prioritisation, organisation, and stakeholder management skills in a regulated financial services environment
- Strong written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin communication skills
