A not-for-profit organisation seeks a Director of Human Resources in Hong Kong to lead enterprise-wide people transformation, shape strategic HR initiatives, and build a high-performing workforce that drives sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board, and executive leadership, shaping people strategy to support business growth and organisational transformation
  • Lead enterprise-wide HR strategy across talent acquisition, learning and development, total rewards, employee relations, HR operations, and compliance
  • Drive organisational design, workforce planning, and transformation initiatives to improve organisational effectiveness, productivity, and collaboration
  • Lead talent management, succession planning, and leadership development to build a high-performing, future-ready workforce
  • Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture through employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and strategic stakeholder partnership
  • Champion HR digital transformation by leveraging technology, data, and automation to improve HR efficiency and deliver workforce insights

Candidate profile:

  • 20+ years' HR leadership experience, including at least 8 years in a senior executive role within large, complex organisations
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, or a related discipline; Master's degree or Executive MBA preferred
  • Proven experience leading organisational transformation, cultural change, and HR digitalisation in fast-paced, complex business environments
  • Expertise in HR strategy, talent management, succession planning, organisational development, total rewards, employee relations, and employment law
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence CEO, Board, and executive stakeholders, translating business strategy into people outcomes
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin proficiency and experience with HR technology, analytics, and automation are advantageous
