What you'll do:
As Head of Human Resources, you will play an integral role in shaping the future of this sizable FMCG organisation.
- Act as a strategic partner to the Managing Director and leadership team by aligning HR initiatives with overall business objectives and supporting organisational growth.
- Design comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and frameworks that drive workforce planning, talent management, and organisational effectiveness.
- Review existing HR practices while introducing contemporary solutions that enhance employee engagement and productivity.
- Lead change management programmes to cultivate a progressive culture that embraces agility and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
- Oversee compensation and benefits structures by developing incentive schemes and performance-based reward programmes tailored to diverse employee needs.
- Prepare board-level materials such as remuneration presentations to inform senior stakeholders and facilitate decision-making processes.
- Drive talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies that build robust programmes for engaging a multi-generational workforce.
- Strengthen leadership capability through succession planning initiatives that ensure sustainable growth and continuity within the organisation.
- Manage all aspects of HR operations including recruitment, learning & development, employee relations, compliance with local labour laws, and corporate governance requirements.
- Provide guidance to a team of HR professionals by nurturing their skills in C&B, L&D, ER, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partnering.
What you bring:
Your proven track record as Head of Human Resources will demonstrate your ability to deliver both operational excellence and strategic insight within FMCG or similar sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline demonstrating foundational knowledge in people management principles.
- 12–18 years of experience in both operational and strategic HR roles within FMCG, manufacturing or distribution sectors showcasing your adaptability across industries.
- Proven ability to design impactful HR programmes and implement change initiatives that drive organisational effectiveness.
- Comfortable working in sizable organisations bringing practical solutions tailored to unique business environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills including exposure to senior leadership teams and occasional board interaction for influencing key decisions.
- Hands-on approach combined with pragmatic problem-solving abilities ensuring effective delivery of HR services across all functions.
- Experience engaging younger workforce demographics through targeted talent management strategies that promote inclusivity.
- Leadership experience managing sizeable HR teams with a focus on nurturing professional development through supportive guidance.
- Excellent communication skills enabling you to influence stakeholders at all levels while fostering positive relationships throughout the organisation.
