Our client is a leading international operator in the food and beverage sector, they are currently hiring a Regional Reward & People Services Assistant Manager (APAC) this position plays a key role in supporting compensation, benefits, payroll governance, and people-related initiatives across multiple countries within the Asia Pacific region.
The successful candidate will lead regional reward programs, provide advisory support on compensation matters, coordinate annual people processes, and ensure consistency of reward practices across different markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage regional compensation and reward programs, including annual remuneration reviews, incentive schemes, performance evaluation cycles, and market benchmarking projects.
- Partner closely with HR teams across different countries to ensure timely execution of reward initiatives and alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze compensation and workforce data, identify trends, and prepare reports and recommendations for senior management.
- Review and monitor payroll administration processes in designated markets to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely salary payments.
- Provide support on salary positioning, job offers, internal transfers, promotions, and employee mobility cases across the region.
- Assist in the development, review, and enhancement of HR policies, reward frameworks, and employee programs to meet evolving business needs.
- Act as a regional point of contact for compensation and benefits-related enquiries from local HR stakeholders.
- Participate in regional HR projects and provide support on various people-related initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits, reward, payroll, or broader HR operations within a multinational or regional organization.
- Experience supporting multiple countries within the Asia Pacific region is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with employment legislation, payroll practices, and taxation requirements across two or more APAC markets would be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical capability, and numerical aptitude.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-moving business environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and hands-on approach.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR-related reporting tools.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken. Additional Asian language capabilities are considered an advantage.
