A leading financial institution seeks an AGM (Compensation) in Hong Kong to transform regional rewards strategies, lead compensation and benefits initiatives, and strengthen talent retention and organisational performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of competitive total rewards, compensation, and benefits programmes across Asia, aligning strategies with business priorities and market trends
  • Own regional rewards cycles, including salary reviews, incentive plans, equity programmes, and job evaluation to drive fair, competitive, and performance-based outcomes
  • Drive organisational design and workforce transformation initiatives that strengthen business capability, operating models, and long-term organisational growth
  • Partner with senior leaders as a trusted rewards advisor, shaping executive compensation, retention strategies, and strategic people decisions
  • Establish robust governance for job architecture, pay equity, and rewards compliance, ensuring alignment with local regulations and global reward frameworks
  • Leverage workforce analytics and market intelligence to optimise reward programmes, guide talent decisions, and continuously enhance organisational performance

Candidate profile:

  • Bring 12+ years’ progressive experience in Total Rewards or Compensation & Benefits, backed by a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field; a master's degree or MBA is advantageous
  • Demonstrate expertise in compensation consulting, job evaluation methodologies (e.g., Mercer IPE or Hay), and the design of competitive, market-aligned rewards strategies
  • Leverage HR technology and analytics, including Workday, advanced Excel, and data-driven insights to support strategic rewards and workforce decisions
  • Thrive in fast-paced, matrixed regional or global organisations, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and business transformation initiatives
  • Influence senior stakeholders through exceptional communication, consulting, and relationship management skills, providing trusted advice on complex reward matters
  • Apply strong knowledge of governance, job architecture, pay equity, and labour regulations across Asia to ensure compliant, fair, and effective rewards programmes
