A leading hospitality group seeks a Chief Operating Officer to transform hotel operations across Hong Kong and China, delivering operational excellence, sustainable growth, and enhanced business performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end operations across a hotel portfolio in Hong Kong and Mainland China, delivering world-class guest experiences while adapting to local market needs
  • Own operational P&L performance, driving revenue growth, cost optimisation, and sustainable profitability across the regional portfolio
  • Champion digital transformation by implementing AI, automation, and hospitality technologies to enhance operational efficiency and the guest experience
  • Drive operational excellence through performance benchmarking, lean practices, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen competitiveness
  • Partner with property General Managers and corporate leadership to maximise commercial performance, optimise asset value, and achieve strategic business objectives
  • Develop and inspire high-performing leadership teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous growth
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, strengthen key stakeholder partnerships, and monitor market trends to support long-term business success across Hong Kong and Mainland China

Candidate profile:

  • Extensive senior hospitality leadership experience, including managing multi-property hotel portfolios across Hong Kong and Mainland China
  • Strong expertise in hotel operations, commercial performance, P&L management, and operational transformation
  • Deep understanding of Mainland China's hospitality market, regulatory landscape, and cross-border stakeholder management
  • Experience implementing hospitality technologies, including PMS, AI-driven guest solutions, and digital guest platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline; an MBA is preferred. Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is essential
  • Outstanding leadership, stakeholder management, and change management skills, with a proven ability to build high-performing teams and drive continuous improvement
