Senior Manager - Tech Risk (Perm, Conglomerate)

A leading conglomerate seeks a Senior Manager, Technology Risk in Hong Kong to modernise IT risk and controls, strengthen digital resilience, and enable strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise technology risk management across cloud, platform, and product environments, ensuring effective governance, resilience, and alignment with business objectives
• Own and enhance IT risk frameworks and the Technology Control Library, embedding fit-for-purpose controls that strengthen cyber security, data integrity, operational resilience, and innovation
• Develop and oversee Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), executive dashboards, and risk reporting that translate technical insights into clear, data-driven business decisions
• Drive continuous improvement by analysing incidents, identifying systemic control gaps, and implementing risk mitigation strategies that strengthen organisational resilience
• Partner with senior technology leaders to influence risk decisions, ensure regulatory alignment, and mentor IT risk professionals to build team capability

Candidate profile:

• 10+ years' experience in technology or operational risk management, leading enterprise IT risk frameworks, control programmes, and operational resilience initiatives
• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Information Security, IT, or a related discipline; CISA, CRISC, ISO 31000, or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable
• Experience within complex, matrixed enterprise environments, with exposure to enterprise architecture, IT service management (asset, change, and migration management), governance frameworks, and GRC platforms
• Strong expertise in IT risk assessment, control design and evaluation, risk quantification, mitigation strategies, operational resilience, and risk reporting
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and leadership skills, with the ability to advise senior executives, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and mentor IT risk professionals
