Analyst, Equities Operations - Investment Bank

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle by working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, trading teams, brokers, sales, structuring, and support functions to facilitate business activities and mitigate operational risks.
• Partner with product specialists and business stakeholders to oversee trade processing, identify potential risks, and support efficient execution across equity and derivatives products.
• Continuously review existing workflows and processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, scalability, and operational controls.
• Analyse complex operational and regulatory requirements, leveraging quantitative and problem-solving skills to recommend practical and sustainable solutions.
• Take ownership of front-to-back trade support activities, ensuring accurate trade capture, lifecycle management, issue resolution, and implementation of process enhancements.

Requirements

• Prioir experience in Finance, preferrably in Equities/ Trading support.
• Bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
• Good understanding of equity-related products, including cash equities and derivative instruments.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different functions and locations.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Self-motivated with strong prioritisation, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Demonstrates ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently.
