CDD/KYC | Corporate & SME Banking (1-Year Contract)

A leading bank is seeking a CDD/KYC candidate in Hong Kong to join their team; an ideal candidate is able to manage end-to-end KYC and account opening processes for new corporate customers.

Key responsibilities:

• Handle account opening leads from referral sources within Institutional Banking Group (IBG)
• Conduct KYC procedures: verify Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO), assess AML risks, and review documents
• Follow up on outstanding documentation and input data into the AOS system for screening and approvals
• Seek necessary approvals from team leaders or escalate recommendations as required
• Deliver quality service to prospective customers and ensure smooth onboarding by collaborating with internal teams
• Perform administrative tasks and ensure compliance with banking regulations

Candidate profile:

• Strong customer focus, analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of banking products/processes
• Effective communication skills to engage with customers and stakeholders
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and ability to multitask under pressure
• Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin preferred
