AVP, Project Manager – Equities

As an AVP, Project Manager - Equities, you will play a pivotal role in the design to implementation process of our client's Derivatives Trading platform. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve analysing system requirements, proposing new requirements with solid justification, developing technical solutions, managing conflicts across project areas, preparing technical documentation, providing support for client onboarding, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Our client is renowned finanical service firm in global markets. They are currently seeking a highly skilled AVP, Project Manager for their Equities division. Responsibilities

• Analyse operational/technical system requirements and identify improvement opportunities
• Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to agree on outcome expectations across scope, timeline, budget, risks
• Develop technical solutions and migration strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams and industry leaders
• Resolve conflicts and manage priority issues across project or functional areas
• Prepare technical documentations and presentation materials including exchange connectivity protocols and user manuals
• Provide technical development support and trainings for client onboarding
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT teams and users, to achieve project success

Requirements

• A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field is required
• Background in financial services/telecom industry or highly regulated organizations with exposures on platform development/transformation is preferred
• Extensive knowledge on trading platform, market practices and/or derivatives is advantageous
• At least 7 years of project management in Trading Platform is necessary
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are needed
