Fixed Income Structurer (6 months renewable contract)
A leading global financial institution seeks a Fixed Income Structurer (6 months renewable contract) to drive fixed income product innovation and expand strategic solutions across Asia ex-Japan.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with senior structurers to develop and enhance fixed income products, including cross-border total return swaps, structured deposits, and CIBM solutions, supporting business growth across Greater China
- Drive market research, product analysis, and regulatory monitoring to identify opportunities, shape product strategy, and ensure alignment with evolving China fixed income market requirements
- Support end-to-end transaction execution by managing structuring documentation, client communications, and cross-functional coordination to deliver seamless product implementation
- Produce market insights, product performance reports, and presentations while collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored fixed income solutions that meet business objectives
- Strengthen product governance and team capability by monitoring product risks, supporting compliance initiatives, facilitating knowledge sharing, and contributing to strategic planning and innovation efforts
Candidate profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline, with experience or a strong academic background in fixed income structuring, investment banking, or capital markets
- Knowledge of fixed income products, including total return swaps (TRS), structured deposits, and China Interbank Bond Market (CIBM) initiatives, with an understanding of relevant Chinese regulatory frameworks
- Exposure to investment banking or capital markets environments, supporting product structuring, market research, regulatory analysis, and cross-border financial solutions
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate market insights into business strategies and engage effectively with clients and cross-functional stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable, with a proactive approach to risk awareness, documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous professional development
