Business Development (Employee Benefits & MPF), Insurance

A leading financial institution seeks Business Development Professionals in Hong Kong to grow its Employee Benefits and MPF business by building strong corporate client relationships and driving business growth.

Appointment level will be based on your qualifications and experience, and fresh graduates with strong commercial acumen and insurance internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and manage long-term relationships with corporate clients, brokers, intermediaries, and business partners to drive business growth, client satisfaction, and retention
• Generate new Employee Benefits (EB) and Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation
• Lead client meetings, presentations, and benefits reviews to assess client needs and deliver tailored EB and MPF solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Strengthen brand presence by organising and participating in client events, seminars, MPF education sessions, and networking initiatives
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and support business strategy
• Deliver exceptional client service through proactive relationship management, retention initiatives, and ongoing account support
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while providing client insights to enhance marketing initiatives and product development

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Risk Management & Insurance, or a related discipline
• Fresh graduates are welcome; internship or relevant experience in insurance, business development, corporate sales, or client relationship management is an advantage
• Strong commercial acumen with an interest in corporate sales, business development, and delivering client-focused solutions
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Proficient in English and Chinese (Cantonese required; Mandarin is an advantage) and willing to obtain IIQE Papers 1–5 during the probation period
