Assistant Insurance Manager (APAC, Employee Benefits)
A leading regional organisation seeks an Assistant Insurance Manager (Employee Benefits) in Hong Kong to drive regional insurance strategy, ensuring seamless policy management and operational excellence across Asia Pacific.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of the Global Employee Benefits Insurance Strategy across Asia Pacific, partnering with brokers and insurers to deliver consistent regional programmes
- Act as the primary liaison for regional stakeholders, business partners, brokers, and insurance providers, ensuring seamless implementation of global insurance policies
- Manage ancillary insurance programmes, fronting agreements, and regional risk data, ensuring compliance with global insurance standards and governance
- Maintain accurate regional insurance data and reporting, supporting informed decision-making and effective policy administration
- Oversee the end-to-end claims process, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely resolution and exceptional service delivery
Candidate profile:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Business Analytics, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years’ experience in an insurance company, brokerage, or corporate insurance function, with exposure to regional insurance programmes
- Experience in Employee Benefits Insurance is highly preferred; knowledge of corporate insurance or risk management is an advantage
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Fluency in English is essential; Mandarin proficiency is highly desirable for regional collaboration
