Sales & Commercial Director - Security Business
My client is a leading security company. They are currently looking for a Sales & Commercial Director for expanding guarding service and products.
As a Commercial lead in Business Development, the role is critical in driving the company's growth and establishing its position in the market. You will collaborate with respective departments to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and achieve sales targets. Your role would involve overseeing product planning, budget planning, stakeholder management and execution of commercial strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development Strategy:
- Formulate and execute commercial strategies to achieve business objectives and increase market share.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Explore sales opportunity achieve targeted sales goals and revenue growth.
- Establish sales processes and performance metrics to ensure positive return and revenue results.
- Responsible for the client proposal and costing sheet.
- Train the operation Team for liaising and deal with clients
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee the negotiation and management of contracts to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
3. Collaboration and Communication:
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance service offerings and market reach.
- Collaborate with partners to create mutually beneficial business opportunities.
4. Financial Oversight:
- Prepare and manage the commercial budget, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Analyse financial performance and report on sales forecasts, revenue, and expenses.
5. Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
6. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all commercial activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Identify potential risks in commercial operations and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven 10 years+ of related experience
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or any other subject
- Ability to understand numbers and analyse data to inform commercial decisions
- Excellent spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience in service industry or security industry is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to lead the commercial team in a multi-cultural environment
- Hands on experience with accounting software or ERP
- In-depth knowledge of sales techniques, market dynamics, and business development strategies
