Club House Manager
I am helping a Hong Kong well-known developer to hire a Clubhouse Manager to lead a team and oversee the day-to-day operations of a sizable clubhouse of a high-end residential portfolio.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of one of Hong Kong’s largest clubhouse facilities. The role involves reviewing and enhancing clubhouse policies and procedures, driving service excellence initiatives, and implementing improvements to clubhouse operations and management practices.
Key responsibilities include leading, coaching, and developing the clubhouse team; managing contractor tendering and related administrative functions; handling resident enquiries and complaints with professionalism; and fostering strong relationships with residents and guests through the delivery of exceptional customer service.
The incumbent will also be responsible for planning and organizing recreational activities, events, and promotional programs for residents and their families. Working closely with the Food & Beverage and Community Relations teams, the Club Manager will create engaging experiences that enhance member satisfaction and community engagement. In addition, the role will involve preparing reports and presentation materials and presenting clubhouse-related matters to the Owners’ Committee.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Recreation Management, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in clubhouse operations within premium residential developments and/or prestigious private clubs, including at least 4 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with residents, members, and guests through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer-service mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Demonstrated success in enhancing clubhouse branding, service standards, and operational excellence.
- Solid knowledge of clubhouse and facility booking systems.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing and motivating a team of 30+ staff members.
- Presentable, friendly, energetic, and approachable personality.
- Proactive, customer-focused, and a collaborative team player.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Club Manager
- Immediate availability is preferred.
