Senior Manager (E&M, Testing & Commissioning)

A leading data centre organisation seeks a Senior Project Manager (Electrical & Mechanical, Testing and Commissioning) in Hong Kong to drive complex building systems commissioning, ensuring seamless project delivery, operational readiness, and successful handover.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end testing and commissioning strategy, planning, and execution to ensure successful project delivery and operational readiness
• Drive collaboration with project teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver seamless commissioning across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection system
• Monitor commissioning progress, manage project risks, and resolve technical issues to keep delivery on schedule and minimise disruptions
• Ensure all testing and commissioning activities meet project specifications, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality expectations
• Oversee commissioning documentation, including test reports, compliance records, and certifications, to support successful project handover and audit readiness
• Provide technical leadership to commissioning teams while championing health and safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence

Candidate profile:

• 15+ years’ testing and commissioning experience within construction or engineering, ideally with general contractors or MEP engineering firms delivering complex projects
• Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience
• Demonstrate expertise across the commissioning lifecycle (L0–L6), construction methodologies, and project risk assessment
• Have proven experience delivering data centre or other mission-critical infrastructure projects, including the integration of MEP and fire/life safety systems
• Apply strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and achieve successful project outcomes.
• Thrive in fast-paced environments with a proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable approach, balancing independent ownership with effective cross-functional collaboration
