Senior Project Manager (MOD / Installation) (Lift & Escalator)

A leading organisation in the vertical transportation sector is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee lift and escalator installation, modernisation, and replacement projects across Hong Kong.

This role offers the opportunity to lead complex infrastructure projects, manage multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and project delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, prioritisation, and execution of lift and escalator installation, modernisation, and replacement projects to ensure successful delivery
• Oversee project operations, including resource allocation, documentation, work execution, and adherence to quality and safety standards
• Manage project budgets, cost control activities, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct site inspections and enforce site safety, compliance, and quality assurance requirements
• Coach, mentor, and lead project teams to achieve project milestones within budget, schedule, and performance expectations
• Attend site meetings and provide hands-on leadership for major and complex project initiatives
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless project coordination and delivery
• Identify project risks, critical issues, and compliance concerns, implementing effective solutions and continuous process improvement initiatives

Candidate profile:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline
• 8–10 years of experience within the lift and escalator industry, including at least 5 years in project management roles
• Proven track record managing installation, modernisation, and large-scale infrastructure projects
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with experience leading cross-functional project teams
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a proactive and self-motivated approach
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships
• Fluent in written and spoken Cantonese, Putonghua, and English, with proficiency in MS Office and Chinese word processing.
• Registered Lift Engineer and/or Registered Escalator Engineer certification is highly advantageous
