An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to join a highly respected organisation driving construction industry transformation and institutional development in Hong Kong.

This role offers the chance to lead large-scale, high-impact projects, collaborate with key industry stakeholders, and champion modern construction technologies while ensuring successful project delivery. You will play a vital role in shaping the future of the built environment within a supportive, collaborative, and growth-focused environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale construction, industry transformation, and institutional development projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and budgets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, professional bodies, industry associations, contractors, and other key stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes
  • Oversee procurement and contract administration activities, including consultancy brief development, tender preparation, bid evaluation, and performance management of external partners
  • Manage project budgets, cost controls, financial forecasting, and reporting, ensuring accurate progress updates and high-quality submissions to senior management
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to Project Managers and Officers, fostering team performance, operational excellence, and timely project delivery

Candidate profile:

  • Degree qualified in Construction Management, Civil, Structural or Building Services Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
  • Hold a recognised professional qualification such as MHKIE, MICE, MRICS, RIBA, MCIOB, PMP, or equivalent accreditation
  • Possess 10–12 years of relevant post-qualification experience within the construction industry or public sector, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
  • Strong knowledge of modern construction methodologies and technologies, including BIM, MiC, and DfMA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Chinese, and Putonghua, with the ability to prepare professional reports and engage diverse stakeholders
