Finance Director – IT Budgeting & Systems | 110k

An organisation in Hong Kong seeks a Finance Director to transform IT budgeting and financial systems, driving strategic cost control and operational excellence, aligning IT spend with business priorities, and enhancing enterprise-wide financial decision-making and efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Own annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across IT and operational spend, ensuring alignment with business priorities
• Govern IT budgets by reviewing, challenging, and optimising spend against strategic investment plans
• Establish cost control frameworks, including expense tracking, approvals, and monthly performance reviews
• Manage Oracle finance systems (COA, cost centres, reporting hierarchy) and ensure strong master data governance
• Partner with Finance and IT to improve workflows, reporting accuracy, and data integrity across Oracle modules
• Deliver management reporting and financial insights, and lead month/year-end close, audits, and finance team development

Candidate profile:

• Experienced finance leader with degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred
• Strong background in budgeting, FP&A, financial planning, cost control, and management reporting
• Proven experience in multinational or complex environments with strong financial governance exposure
• Hands-on expertise in Oracle Finance Systems and financial data structures (e.g. reporting, processes, controls)
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with excellent stakeholder management and team leadership skills
