Financial Analyst | Retail MNC | 35k

A retail MNC seeks a Financial Analyst in Hong Kong to manage reporting, month-end closing, and analysis, supporting business decisions in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis for senior stakeholders
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Analyse sales trends, gross margin, operating expenses, and other retail performance drivers
• Partner with commercial and operations teams to provide financial insights and business recommendations
• Support month-end close activities, including review of accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and expense analysis
• Track KPIs and identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives
• Assist with feasibility studies, new business initiatives, and special projects as required

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or commercial finance, preferably in retail, FMCG, or a multinational environment
• Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP or reporting systems is an advantage
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present insights clearly
• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
