Compensation Accounting (Payroll) – 12-Month Contract

A leading global investment bank seeks a Compensation Accounting Professional in Hong Kong to strengthen payroll accounting and compensation processes, supporting accurate financial operations across the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate and process compensation data, including salary, bonuses and benefits
• Handle payroll accounting, GL postings and account reconciliations
• Support individual income tax reporting and compliance
• Collaborate with global teams and external payroll vendors
• Participate in local and global projects, including new entity setup and tax effectiveness programmes

Candidate profile:

• 2–3 years’ relevant experience; Big 4 Human Capital, Compensation Tax or Payroll experience is a strong advantage
• Experience in GL posting and account reconciliation
• Knowledge of individual income tax and employee benefit programmes is an advantage
• Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
• Mandarin fluency is preferred
