Accountant | HK Group | SAP exp MUST | 45k

A Hong Kong retail healthcare group seeks an Accountant with SAP experience to oversee full-set accounting and ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the full set of accounts for the Hong Kong entity, including AP, AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and SAP (FI/CO) transactions to ensure accurate and compliant financial records
• Lead month-end and year-end closing, prepare financial statements, management reports, and group reporting packages, while overseeing intercompany reconciliations to support timely and accurate financial reporting
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks to ensure successful audits, statutory compliance, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Drive finance process improvements by supporting SAP enhancements, participating in finance projects, and maintaining strong internal controls to improve operational efficiency
• Partner with cross-functional teams and support PRC-related accounting activities where required, ensuring seamless collaboration, knowledge sharing, and high standards of financial accuracy

Candidate profile:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 3 to 6 years’ accounting experience in a sizeable corporate or regional organisation
• Mandatory SAP experience, preferably SAP FI/CO, with advanced Excel skills for financial analysis, reconciliations, and reporting
• Strong background in full-set accounting, month-end/year-end closing, group reporting, intercompany reconciliations, statutory compliance, and coordination with auditors, tax advisors, and banks; PRC accounting exposure is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical ability, high attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records
• Effective communicator and collaborative team player with adaptability to support process improvements, system enhancements, and cross-functional initiatives
