Senior Accountant | Manufacturing MNC | 40k

A leading multinational manufacturing organisation is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Hong Kong team.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the full set of accounting operations, including journal entries, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, accruals, and month-end closing
• Handle consolidation duties, including intercompany reconciliation, elimination entries, and support for group reporting
• Prepare management accounts, financial schedules, and variance analysis for review by management
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and overseas offices to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Assist with year-end audit, statutory audit, and tax filing requirements
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and local statutory requirements
• Perform ad hoc finance and accounting projects as assigned

Candidate profile:

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably gained in a manufacturing MNC
• Manufacturing industry experience is a must
• Solid experience in full-set accounting and consolidation
• Strong understanding of month-end and year-end closing processes
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently under pressure
