Senior Accountant | MNC | 40k

A growing organisation seeks a Senior Accountant to strengthen multi-entity accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and effective financial control across the business in Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the full set of accounts and month-end closing for assigned entities
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with IFRS/HKFRS
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reviews
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting activities
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and group reporting requirements
• Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and internal control initiatives
• Support regional finance projects and other ad hoc assignments

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
• 4–6 years' accounting experience, ideally within a multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/HKFRS and financial reporting requirements
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is advantageous
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage
