Finance Transformation Manager | regional scope
Based in Hong Kong, this regional role supports finance process transitions across multiple locations. The position manages change initiatives, drives process standardisation and ensures service continuity during operating model shifts. Working closely with regional leadership, local teams and external partners, the role plays a key part in delivering consistent, high‑quality finance services.
The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a change advocate, clearly communicating the objectives, approach and benefits of the target operating model to local teams
- Manage assigned regional transition projects in line with agreed plans, milestones and governance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for local teams and external partners during the transition lifecycle
- Support scoping and knowledge transfer activities, including:
- Resource and capacity assessments
- Process documentation and operating procedures
- Performance measures and service metrics
- Drive process standardisation and continuous improvement across assigned locations
- Identify gaps between global standard processes and local practices; agree local variations and support remediation plans with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure service continuity during transitions, with risks proactively identified, escalated and managed
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to the ongoing refinement of transition methodologies and tools
- Support the delivery of high-quality, professional finance services aligned with organisational standards
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance-related project or transition management
- Proven exposure to end-to-end process transitions, operating model change or shared services environments
- Solid understanding of finance operations, including core accounting and transactional processes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across corporate and local teams
- Comfortable operating in a regional, multi-cultural environment
- Highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Proactive, reliable and diplomatic, with a collaborative working style
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to balance competing priorities
