Finance Business Analyst

A leading financial institution seeks a Finance Business Analyst in Hong Kong to drive finance transformation across APAC, deliver business solutions, and support strategic initiatives through effective process and system improvements.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead finance transformation and regulatory projects, aligning delivery with finance strategy and business objectives
• Drive ledger transformation initiatives by enhancing finance systems, reporting capabilities, and platform consistency
• Translate business requirements into solutions by partnering with Finance, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Deliver finance technology projects including system integrations, automation, migrations, upgrades, and new product implementations
• Coordinate project delivery activities including feasibility reviews, testing, risk assessment, documentation, and progress tracking
• Ensure successful implementation outcomes through stakeholder engagement, post-go-live support, and continuous improvement

Candidate profile:

• Strong IFRS knowledge, particularly financial instruments and accounting treatment principles
• Exposure to front-to-back operations and financial products within banking or financial services
• Proven project delivery experience supporting finance transformation and system initiatives
• Strong English communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
• Proficient in MS Office and SQL, including Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
