Financial Controller | Global Scope | 80k

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the full controllership function, ensuring high-quality financial reporting, strong internal controls, and effective coordination across global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Review management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow reporting, and key financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance, and reporting processes across the business.
• Partner with regional and global stakeholders to support business decisions and resolve finance-related issues.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other professional parties as required.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, accounting treatments, and reporting matters.
• Drive improvements in systems, processes, and reporting efficiency.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with solid post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical accounting background, ideally gained in a multinational or complex business environment.
• Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across different functions and geographies.
• Strong grasp of controllership, financial governance, and reporting standards.
• Experience working in a global or regional structure is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Chinese is an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP or financial reporting systems.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
