About the Role

Reporting to senior finance leadership, the Financial Controller will oversee the full spectrum of controllership, ensuring robust financial governance and operational excellence. This role also offers exposure to strategic initiatives, including finance transformation and process improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end financial controllership, including accounting operations, statutory reporting, tax, and treasury
Ensure compliance with local regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Lead and optimise accounting operations, driving efficiency and best practices
Partner with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders where required
Support cash flow management, liquidity planning, and treasury activities
Drive finance transformation initiatives, including system enhancements and process streamlining
Lead or contribute to ad hoc projects to improve financial reporting, controls, and operational efficiency

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA or equivalent preferred
12+ years of relevant experience, ideally within professional services or similar environments
Strong technical accounting knowledge with hands-on controllership experience
Exposure to tax, treasury, and statutory reporting in a dynamic business environment
Proven experience in process improvement or finance transformation projects
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to operate in a fast-paced setting
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
