Finance Manager | Big 4 + Commercial Exp Required

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a Big 4 combined with solid commercial finance exposure. We welcome candidates from various finance functions such as Internal Audit, FP&A, Investor Relations, Treasury, Corporate Finance, Investment, Financial Reporting, and more. This role offers broad exposure across finance disciplines within a sizeable listed group environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured 2 years rotation program across different finance functions to build comprehensive business and finance acumen.
• Lead and manage financial reporting processes in compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Support audit and assurance activities, working closely with external auditors from Big 4 firms.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives, providing strategic insights to business units.
• Monitor financial performance, identify risks, and recommend actionable improvements.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to evaluate investment proposals, business cases, and pricing strategies.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, controls, and procedures.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and treasury functions as required.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a high-performance finance culture.
• Maintain effective communication and relationship management with stakeholders including senior management, investors, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications preferred (CPA, ACCA, CFA).
• Min 5 years of progressive finance experience including Big 4 audit/public accounting and commercial finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and financial reporting best practices.
• Proven ability to lead multiple finance functions and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems skills (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ambition and leadership potential, with readiness for accelerated advancement in finance leadership.
