AVP / Junior VP, Acquisition & Leveraged (Structured Finance), Renowned Foreign Corporate Bank

A renowned foreign corporate bank seeks an Assistant Vice President / Junior Vice President in Hong Kong to drive structured and leveraged finance transactions, delivering tailored financing solutions and supporting strategic client growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Origination support: Assist in sourcing, structuring, and executing event-driven and structured debt financing opportunities
• Client relationship development: Strengthen client engagement by preparing financing proposals, pitch books, and conducting market analysis
• Credit processing: Support execution through financial and credit analysis, due diligence review, drafting term sheets and legal documents, and preparing credit memos, CF models, valuation analyses, and credit rating applications
• Portfolio management: Take ownership of leveraged finance and structured debt portfolios, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting
• Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with RMs, sector bankers, and product/solution teams to deliver seamless client service

Candidate profile:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related disciplines; CPA or CFA designation preferred
• Experience: 3+ years in origination and execution of leveraged finance (LBO), acquisition finance, and structured finance transactions, ideally with a lead arranging bank or bookrunner
• Technical skills: Proficient in CF modeling, valuation analysis, and credit analysis
• Documentation: Skilled in preparing credit memos, pitch books, and other presentation materials
• Market knowledge: Strong understanding of capital market products, syndication processes, and credit ratings
• Languages: Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in another Asian language is an advantage
