A reputable investment bank seeks a Workplace Operations and Python Automation Engineer. This dynamic role combines operational expertise with technical innovation, focusing on physical security management, workplace tool optimisation, and process automation using Python and other technologies.

Key responsibilities:

Physical Security

• Support APAC Physical Security operations, including managing access control systems and documentation
• Develop policies and conduct internal audits in collaboration with Risk and Compliance teams

Workplace Operations

• Provide technical support for workplace tools, driving automation using Python, VBA, AI tools, and low-code platforms
• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance workplace systems and prepare monthly KPI reports
• Lead process optimisation initiatives, analyse workflows, and propose efficiency improvements
• Manage vendor services, invoice verification, compliance requirements, and office layouts
• Be available for occasional weekend work during emergencies or contractor activities

Minor Projects

• Assist with office renovations, relocations, and small-scale projects

Candidate profile:

• Strong analytical skills and technical expertise in Python, VBA, AI tools, and automation platforms
• Experience in vendor management, data analysis, and delivering impactful presentations
• Fluency in English plus Cantonese/Mandarin
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint), AutoCAD, and project management tools
