Technology Governance Analyst (Infra & IT Ops, Contract)

A well-known financial services company in Hong Kong is looking for a Technology Governance Analyst to support governance activities across IT Infrastructure and IT Operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with Infrastructure, IT Operations, Cybersecurity, Risk, and other technology teams to support technology governance, risk and control monitoring, operational reporting, audit coordination, and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of technology governance policies, standards, procedures, and control frameworks
• Monitor compliance with established IT processes, governance requirements, and internal controls
• Maintain governance records, control documentation, and supporting evidence to ensure appropriate audit readiness
• Track control issues, exceptions, audit findings, and remediation actions, following up with responsible teams to ensure timely closure
• Support governance activities across IT Infrastructure and day-to-day IT Operations
• Monitor key operational and control areas, including incidents, changes, system availability, capacity, patching, and vulnerabilities
• Identify overdue or significant items and coordinate appropriate follow-up and escalation
• Assist with periodic reviews of technology controls, operational processes, and governance requirements
• Prepare regular technology governance and IT operations reports for management, highlighting key risks, issues, trends, and outstanding actions
• Maintain dashboards and key performance and risk indicators relating to infrastructure and IT operations
• Support the automation and enhancement of governance reporting and monitoring processes where appropriate
• Work with relevant technology teams to identify opportunities for process and control improvement

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline
• 3+years’ relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • IT Governance
  • IT Operations
  • Technology Risk and Controls
  • IT Audit
  • IT Service Management
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure and operations, including servers, networks, cloud services, incident and change management, system availability, patching, and vulnerabilities
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Power BI, ServiceNow, or similar reporting and IT service-management tools would be an advantage
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills
• Able to work independently, manage priorities, and follow through on outstanding actions
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
• Flexibility to provide occasional weekend or after-hours support when required
