Manager, IT Operations (Global Retail Brand)

A well-known global retail brand is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead infrastructure, service delivery, and retail technology operations across corporate and store environments, supporting continued business growth and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain enterprise infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, endpoints, and workplace technologies
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems across offices, retail stores, and distribution centres
• Lead infrastructure modernisation, system upgrades, patching, and capacity planning initiatives
• Oversee cloud and on-premises environments, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and collaboration platforms
• Lead day-to-day IT operations and end-user support services
• Monitor and improve service levels, KPIs, and user satisfaction metrics
• Support new store openings, renovations, relocations, and regional rollouts
• Ensure the smooth operation of retail technology platforms, including POS systems, payment solutions, and store networks and connectivity
• Manage project budgets, resource planning, and operational expenditure

Candidate profile:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 8 years’ IT experience, with at least 3 years in a management or team leadership capacity
• Experience managing IT infrastructure and operations within retail, fashion, FMCG, consumer, or multi-site environments
• Experience supporting retail stores and business-critical operational systems
• Exposure to regional or global IT operations within a multinational organisation
• Strong stakeholder management, vendor management, and project delivery experience
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Azure, Cisco, PMP, or equivalent are highly preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese)
