Commerical Mgmt Officer (IT & Digital Finance) - 45k

Job Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of commercial governance frameworks, controls, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and manage business risk.
• Partner with business and technology teams on budgeting, forecasting, investment planning, and business case evaluations.
• Identify and assess cost optimization opportunities across technology and digital service portfolios through commercial analysis and strategic sourcing approaches.
• Manage contract administration activities, ensuring accurate maintenance of commercial agreements, renewal schedules, and key contractual obligations.
• Coordinate contract renewals by preparing pricing assessments, commercial comparisons, scenario analysis, and negotiation strategies.
• Produce management reports and dashboards that provide insights into budget performance, cost trends, and value realization opportunities.
• Conduct financial and commercial analysis to support investment decisions and ongoing portfolio management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure commercial agreements align with corporate governance, risk management, and service performance standards.
• Monitor supplier performance against agreed service commitments and facilitate improvement initiatives where required.
• Perform market benchmarking and commercial reviews to ensure competitiveness and value for money across third-party services.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Technology Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial management, vendor management, contract management, financial analysis, procurement, technology services, or a related field.
• Experience managing commercial relationships with external service providers and supporting contract negotiations.
• Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and business case development capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and operational data, identify trends, and develop cost optimization recommendations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Experience using reporting, business intelligence, and data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies, digital services, cloud-based solutions, or AI-enabled tools is advantageous.
• Strong written and spoken English; additional language capabilities are a plus.
